These two 2’6” gauge locos were supplied new to the Royal Ordanance Factory at Bishopton, near Glasgow. They moved into preservation on 15/4/2005 at the Ayrshire Railway Preservation Group’s site at Dalmellington, and arrived at Apedale on 8/4/2011. Whilst at Bishopton,someone decided that ‘CAT’ meant ‘Tiddles’.
