Despite the intense cold (by UK standards, anyway…) there’s plenty going on at Apedale at the moment, Today has seen volunteers working on pointwork for the field railway extension, and moving fill for the extension itself. The Baguley Drewry diesel loco has received its winter service – always a delightful and straightforward exercise (not). We’re all now just hoping that we will be on the nice list for next weekend when Santa comes to see us.
