Finally, the post you have all been waiting for. The polls have closed, the ballots have been counted. We can now announce the results of the Apedale Reindeer of the Year, as voted for by visitors to our Santa Specials. In third place was Dasher. In second place, and separated by a single vote, was Comet. But the runaway winner, to no-one’s surprise, is Rudolph.
Many thanks to everyone who came to see us for the Santa Specials, it is always a very special time for all our volunteers. Our final operating day for 2022 is on December 27th, when the diminutive “Edgar” will haul the trains, with the crew really hoping for a dry day! Trains will run from 1130 to 4pm.
