This coach is being refurbished and overhauled for operation at Apedale. In addition to providing new bogies and the installation of air brakes, we are also converting the vehicle to allow the carriage of wheelchairs. A guard’s area is being created, and the interior re-modelled to match. Finally, a new electrical system is being installed. All this work will be carried out in-house at Apedale by our volunteers.
