An AGM afternoon

It’s been the Annual General Meeting for the Moseley Railway Trust. In an attempt to boost engagement, an afternoon visit was arranged. Our host was Roger Fuller’s Lime Kiln Wharf railway at Stone. We were looked after wonderfully, including visiting the newly-built replica bar, complete with an extraordinarily loud gramophone. A Ruston and a Motor Rail were in use on the 2’0″ gauge railway, and our retired Severn Valley Railway signaller felt at home operating the lever frame – the railway is fully signalled. And the pump trolley…so fast it comes up behind jet fighters and flashes its headlights.

Closer to home, just a quick reminder that next Saturday, April 1st, will be the first day of the 2023 operating season.
