Firstly, we have amended the dates for our Halloween event. This event will now run on FRIDAY October 31st and Saturday 1st November. Steam trains will run from 3pm until 8pm on each day. There won’t be trains before 3pm, and no trains on Sunday 2nd November. It’s a fun outing, suitable for all ages – we aim to amuse rather than terrify. Our steam trains will run at frequent intervals, finishing at with the last train at 8pm. There’s no need to book in advance, just turn up. We would advise that you wrap up warm and bring a torch – it’s dark in the carparking area. There’s a chance (actually, pretty much a certainty) you may get wet – so be prepared!
Consequentially, we will be operating diesel trains only on 18, 19, 25 & 26 October during our usual hours – 1130 until 4pm.
The steam loco roster for the end of the season is:- 27th Sept – WOTO. 28th Sept – diesel. 4th October – Ogwen, 5th – diesel, 11th & 12th October – Stanhope. WOTO will operate the Halloween Spooky Specials as above.
