Following the sad news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and the announcement of the date of her funeral, we have reviewed the plans for our Annual Gala. You may recall that this event was planned for next weekend, September 17 & 18. After due reflection, we have decided that the event will proceed on Saturday only. On the Sunday, the railway will be closed to the public as a mark of respect.
We are very much hoping to still put on the same great show as was planned on the Saturday, and you’ll be able to see up to six steam engines working trains around the site. The event will be open from 1100 to 430pm, with entry prices Adult £5.00, child £2.50, family £12. The entry price includes on round trip on the railway, and further tickets for additional rides are available from the Shop.
