This softback book has been published by Mainline and Maritime Publications in 2020 and covers railway operations over the three Tracks to the Trenches events held at the Apedale Valley Light Railway in 2014, 2016 and 2018, featuring most of the locomotives (steam and internal combustion) which attended those three events. Many of the pictures include the locomotive crew in WW1 uniform, giving a real feel for both the event and operations during WW1. There are also several posed shorts from photo charters, and overall, the book gives a good impression of the railway operations, and a great overview of the narrow gauge equipment gathered together for each of those three widely acclaimed events.
The book has 78 pages (plus covers), in full colour throughout (apart from one black and white photo) and is in landscape format, measuring 234mm x 155mm (9.25″ x 6.125″).
