Avonside 1968 of 1928 in a 040 side tank loco. It was new to Cookes Brothers (South Africa) for their Renishaw Sugar Estate. As “Renishaw No.2”, it was displayed for many years outside the works offices. The loco returned to the UK in 2020, moving to Apedale on 11/6/21. It is a very long-term restoration project!
