For 2026, we will run the Halloween Spooky Specials on three days, picked to fit around school half-term. The three dates are Sunday 25 October, Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October. On each day, steam trains  will run at frequent intervals, starting at 4pm and finishing with the last train at 8pm. There’s no need to book in advance, just turn up. We would advise that you wrap up warm and bring a torch – it’s dark in the carparking area. There’s a chance (actually, pretty much a certainty) you may get wet – so be prepared!

There will be no trains operating before 4pm on these dates. If you have little ones, we suggest coming earlier in the evening before it gets fully dark.
