Cadeby Light Railway Day
March 28th @ 11:30 am - 4:00 pm

Forty years ago, in 1986, the world bid farewell to the Rev Teddy Boston. Immortalised as the Fat Clergyman in the Thomas the Tank Engine stories, Teddy Boston built and operated the 2’0″ gauge Cadeby Light Railway around the village rectory gardens. After that railway closed, much of the equipment came to Apedale and under the care of the Moseley Railway Trust. On this day, we will operate some of that equipment and remember Teddy and Cadeby.
Standard fares will apply, with steam (and other!) trains running from 1130 until 1600.
