We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a visiting loco at the end of June. Bagnall saddle tank “Sir Tom” will be visiting Apedale as part of a tour away from its normal base at Threlkeld in Cumbria. This delightful loco has a Staffordshire pedigree, being a Stafford product. However, its working life was down south, at a cable manufacturing works in Kent. Standard fares will be charged, and “Sir Tom” will be in operation on both days. It is possible that further dates may be added nearer to the time – watch this space!
