This manrider was delivered on 22 November 1993 to National Grid at Woodhead along with MRT fleet No. 94. It was delivered in the green colour seen on MRT fleet No. 71, but at some stage was re-painted to the current white. The manrider arrived at Apedale on 31 March 2015, having been most generously donated to the Trust by National Grid, along with the matching loco. This vehicle is in ex-industrial condition and therefore does not comply with the standards required of vehicles in front-line passenger operation.
