Good to see lots of smiling faces during the Teddy Bear’s Outing event. Despite the terrible Monday weather, a number of other tasks were undertaken. The three-way point which will form the southern access to the new shed was finally completed, and taken to site. Since there is no crane access to the location, a more gravity-based method of unloading had to be used. The resemblance to launching an ocean liner was noted, mainly by those not directly involved.
In the dry, Lister 52031 has acquired a very shiny 3-cylinder engine, and Motor Rail 5213 was subject to some TLC whilst the fearsome guard dog looked on in an uninterested sort of way.
